Invite Villagers

Before you can get the recipe for the ladder, you have to gather a total of 2,000 Nook Miles. When you have this much money, go straight to the green Resident Services tent in Tom Nook and go to the green booth on the right.

Go to the Nook Miles Rewards page and pay the above amount for a Nook Miles Ticket. Then go to the airport to visit the island on the map that says “Mystery Island.”
