As a prize for participating in the Moonfire Faire Event in 2021, players received the Polar Bear Mount.
The event took place between the 13th and the 26th of August.
There is currently no other method in the game that can be used to acquire this Mount, as of the time that this article was written.
Mog Station does not sell it either, so you won’t be able to get it there.
However, when the next Moonfire Faire Event comes to a place, it is highly likely that it will be made available for purchase there.
This is excellent news if obtaining this particular bear was one of your goals since it appears that you have been successful in doing so.
The unfortunate news is that there is a slim chance that it will be added back at no further cost.
However, in Final Fantasy XIV, you will find that there are a variety of various bears that you can ride.
If you are dead set on traveling by another form of transportation associated with ursines, the following are some of your other options:
The Warbear is a prize for completing the Warrior-specific achievement “But Somebody’s Gotta Do It.”
As a Warrior, you must complete 200 high-level tasks.
These include Raids, Trials, and Dungeons that have a level requirement of level 50 or higher.
The Battle Bear is a reward that can be earned by completing the “Tank You Warrior III” achievement.
As a warrior, you must complete three hundred high-level tasks.
These include Dungeons, Raids, and Trials with a level requirement of 61 or higher.
The Starlight Bear was initially given out as a gift for participating in the Starlight Celebration in 2017. However, it has now been made available for purchase on Mog Station.
There is no way to acquire it through the play of the game. However, if you are prepared to part with any real-world currency, you can have it.
Particularly the existence of the Starlight Bear is what contributes to the propagation of the idea that the Polar Bear isn’t completely out of reach forever.
As was the case with past Event Mounts, it is highly likely that it will eventually be made available for purchase at some time.
You will just have to suffer the inconvenience of waiting till it is ready.
