Still, the Dark Brotherhood is not in great shape when Skyrim’s story takes place. Even if an important person like the Dragonborn gets involved, it seems like things will only get worse.
The only way to bring back this old group of killers is to add some cool mods and show Commander Maro that he will never be able to stop the Dark Brotherhood.

This mod replaces the facial appearance of three female characters in the Dark Brotherhood, Astrid, Gabriella, and Babette. It is a face replacer mod, meaning it updates the visual appearance of their faces.
7. Archet’s Dark Brotherhood – Improved Shadowmere
This mod replaces the appearance of Shadowmere, the horse from the Dark Brotherhood, with improved textures. It gives the horse black skin, new eyes, and a custom saddle.
It does not require any plugins and is solely a texture replacement pack.
6. Dark Brotherhood for Good Guys
This mod expands the Dark Brotherhood quest line in a way that allows players to approach it from a morally ambiguous perspective.
It adds more information about the targets and their motives, allowing players to make more informed decisions about who to kill.
The mod is designed to make it possible for players to play as a “good guy” while still going through the Dark Brotherhood quest line.
5. Dark Brotherhood Reborn – Dawnstar Sanctuary
Being part of a shadowy assassin organization should come with some great benefits.

The Dark Brotherhood questline in Skyrim is extremely good.

Your Choices Matter is a custom expansion that brings these well-needed improvements to the questline.
It specifically introduces tons of new choices that have consequences in the questline, and these can even influence the ending.
Toss in some new voiced dialogues as well, and you get a mod that can stand head-to-head with the rest of the game – despite being entirely fan-made.
