11 Best JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Mods For Skyrim

If you don’t like Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, you have bad taste. If you don’t like the show, I’m sorry.

Have you ever thought about giving up anime?

It might not be for you.

Since Stone Ocean came out on Netflix, Stardust Crusaders all over the world are more excited than ever about Jojo.

So now is a great time to see what the Skyrim modding community has to give to make Tamriel more like Jojo.

Skyrim is already pretty strange, though. There are vampires and magical powers, and the main focus of the Conjuration school is to call forth Stands.

Have you ever met Cicero?

That guy is a Jojo figure, no doubt about it.

Still, when it comes to adding JJBA charm to Skyrim, we can go a lot further.

Whether it’s skills, poses, or sound effects, this list has some gems that will make your strange trip in the coldest part of Tamriel even better.

11. Anubis Jojo

Bizarre

This mod adds the Anubis stand from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure to Skyrim. The Anubis stand is a powerful, sentient sword that can possess its wielder and make them a master swordsman.

In the mod, the player can acquire the Anubis stand as a weapon and use it in combat. It also comes with unique enchantments and effects, making it a formidable addition to the game.

The mod is aimed towards fans of the anime/manga series who wish to incorporate elements of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure into their Skyrim gameplay.

10. JoJo-Themed Main Menu

This mod changes the main menu music of the game Skyrim to the theme song of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 3, called “Stand Proud”.

It is intended for fans of the anime/manga series and aims to provide a more personalized and enjoyable experience while playing the game.

9. Sunlight Yellow Overdrive – Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Spell

The mod adds a spell called Sunlight Yellow Overdrive from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure to Skyrim.

When cast, the player character punches with fast and powerful strikes that deal extra damage to undead enemies, such as vampires.

It is found during the Dawnguard quest “Touching the Sky” or can be added via console command. The mod author welcomes feedback on balancing.

8. Vampire Transformation Replacer

Back in the days of Jonathan Joestar, it was all about vampires. Now, JoJo is all about old alien arrows, Stands, and weekly wretches for our heroes to beat up.

If you’ve been watching the show since Jonathan and Dio were fighting like brothers, you’ll remember the famous scene where Dio finally gives up his humanity and turns into a vampire with the help of the stone mask.

This mod was made by Lord ChiruChiru to honor that moment. It takes the sound effect of Dio turning into a vampire and replaces it with him yelling “I REJECT MY HUMANITY, JOJO!”

Best case, you forget you installed this mod, then you turn into a vampire and laugh so hard you think it’s an enemy stand.

7. Jojo’s Main Menu Music Replacer

Jojo’s Main Menu Music Replacer by Raexxar is another app that changes sounds.

This add-on changes the main menu music with a song from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, as you might have guessed from the name.

Everyone has a favorite, so the author gave more than one choice.

Fighting Gold (Part 5 OP), Traitor’s Requiem (2nd Part 5 OP), and Bloody Stream (Part 2 OP) all come in different forms.

When combined with the Jojo-themed Main Menu mod, this small but important change makes the game much better.

6. ZA WARUDO Shout Redux

A lot of mods have promised to give the Dragonborn the most powerful stand-alone ability: DIO’s The World.

ZA WARUDO Shout Redux is one of the best, which means it has the fewest bugs.

It was just a replacement sound for the Slow Time shout-back when it came out. Now, it’s a shout that stands on its own and has the power to stop time.

The best part is, of course, hearing DIO say “ZA WARUDO” every time you cast it.

I also like that Maselkov went above and beyond with the story of the hunt for the shout.

You don’t just get a Stand by magic. You need to get to North Brittleshin Pass and use a strange arrow to cut yourself. Sounds like…

5. Jotaro’s The World

If you don’t like playing the bad guy, you might like Jotaro’s The World.

This mod, made by modder Vitaar, is almost the same as ZA WARUDO Shout Redux, except that Jotaro calls out for Star Platinum’s The World instead of DIO.

To get the shout, you also have to get hit by a strange arrow, but this one is in Riverrun and is much easier to find.

This mod also has a version that uses xVA Synth so that the shout sounds like Thu’um instead of DIO or Jotaro. Inclusive!

4. Giorno’s Theme for Dragon Battles

One of the main reasons I enjoy the Jojo anime over the manga is how good the battle themes tend to be – especially when Jojo finally turns things around.

Out of every Jojo, I think Giorno has the best theme.

It’s no wonder there are so many remixes online!

This mod by Dirty_Dan brings some of the bad-ass fighting energy from the show into Skyrim by playing Giorno’s battle theme whenever you encounter a dragon.

Regrettably, the game can’t detect when you “turn around” the fight – but hearing it from the beginning will motivate you to wipe the floor with the dragon with style.

3. Summon Stand (LE)

For the most part, I try to focus on Skyrim Special Edition mods whenever I put together a ranking.

Still, some mods deserve recognition despite being stuck in Legendary Edition.

Summon Stand was one of the first Jojo mods, and it remains one of the best.

Rather than letting you launch a special power or stop time, this mod lets you summon your own stand – Skyrim version.

They look ridiculous. But honestly, so do the actual stands.

This mod by Solar includes Silver Chariot, Magician’s Red, Star Platinum, and The World.

2. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Spells

A great way to Jojo-ify your Skyrim experience is with Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Spells mod by Daxafagan.

This introduces 149 new Stand abilities for your Dragonborn to try out.

Admittedly, they’re not all the most detailed spells. You won’t be summoning any stands or restarting the universe – but they’re varied and definitely match their inspiration.

For example, Stone Ocean’s Weather Report lets you choose the current climate or summon thunderstorms, while Goo Goo Dolls enables you to increase or decrease your size.

In addition, you’ll find special weapons like Anubis and Pluck, and a skill that’ll send you straight into the turtle from Golden Wind.

1. Hedy’s Jojo Poses

I really can’t believe it took until the 2020s for someone to make a functional Jojo pose mod.

You might be surprised to find a Skyrim animation mod here, considering we’ve covered massive skill packs and other cool add-ons already.

But everyone knows JJBA is all about the posing.

Even if you have nothing but vanilla spells, summoning a bunch of skeletons and striking a pose while they take care of your enemies is about the Jojo-est thing you can do in Skyrim.

Watching the Dragonborn contort himself into Killer Queen’s iconic pose is priceless. It’s a definite win in my book.
