Where To Farm Giant’s Toes in Skyrim?

Giant’s Toes can be taken from Giants, which can be found all over Skyrim in Giant Camps. The best place to find giant camps is in the western tundra area of Whiterun.

More specifically, the camps Bleakwind Basin, Secunda’s Kiss, and Sleeping Tree Camp, which are all in the tundra, are close to each other.

And at least two giants are sitting around a campfire in each one.

But each giant only loses one toe.

So if you want to get a lot of Giant’s Toes for alchemy, you have to fight a lot of them.

It’s also important to know that the camps will come back after 30 days in-game.

But if you don’t want to fight Giants, you can instead check your local alchemy merchant every 48 in-game hours.

A few Giant’s Toes are sometimes in their inventories.

It is a rare alchemy ingredient, so there is a 21% chance that a merchant will have it.

Giant Camps Near Whiterun

West of Whiterun, you can find a camp called Bleakwind Basin. It is home to two giants and three mammoths.

Southwest of Whiterun, you can find Secunda’s Kiss just below the mountain where Bleak Falls Barrow is.

There are two giants here: one near the path to the mountain and one near the campfire.

Southwest of Whiterun, you can find Sleeping Tree Camp.

There is also a cave in this camp that is home to a single giant that you can farm.

Guaranteed Giant’s Toe Samples

There are always samples of Giant’s Toes that you can steal from different places in Skyrim.

Some good locations to consider that offer two samples are:

• White Hall in Dawnstar
• Calixto’s House of Curiosities in Windhelm
• Palace of Kings, also in Windhelm

White Hall Location

Dawnstar is where White Hall is.

When you get inside, look to the left to find a room with a lot of alchemy supplies. You should find two Giant’s Toes among the other items.

Calixto’s House of Curiosities Location

You should be able to go into Calixto’s House (museum) almost as soon as you arrive in Windhelm.

You should see two pieces of Giant’s Toes on a small table as soon as you walk into his house.

If you steal them, you can keep them.

Palace of the Kings Location

The Palace of the Kings in Windhelm is an easy place to steal two samples.

Just go to the end of the hall and turn left. Wuunferth the Unliving’s room is right there.

The toes are in the corner of his room by the alchemy table (pictured above).

Are These Toes Worth Farming?

At lower levels, it can be hard to fight giants. But in alchemy, the Giant’s Toe can be used to make some pretty useful potions.

More specifically, these toes have effects that damage stamina, strengthen health, make it easier to carry weight, and heal damage to stamina.

Also, adding a Giant’s toe to a Fortify Health potion will make it last 300 seconds instead of 60, making it more valuable than regular Fortify Health potions.

So that’s one way you could make money from these Giant’s toes.
