You have to catch them all if you want to be the best. Anywhere you go.
Since Skyrim is so easy to change, it’s not surprising that modders tried to add things from the Pokémon universe to TES 5.
There hasn’t been a big change yet (here’s hoping!)
But these mods will be more than enough to keep you busy with Pokémon while you wait for the next Elder Scrolls game.
8. POKEMON Textures
This mod replaces default textures in Skyrim with Pokemon, and the mod author plans to change more creatures to Pokemon in the future.
They warn that the mod is not compatible with other mods that change textures, and some parts require DLCs Dawnguard and Dragonborn.
The installation is simple through NMM or manual drag-and-drop, and the mod author recommends using the Go! Pokeball! mod as well.
7. Pokerim Change skyrim creatures into pokemon
This mod replaces some creatures in Skyrim with Pokemon, specifically dragons with Charizard, spiders with Ariados, and trolls with Machoke.
The mod author made it because they couldn’t find a Charizard texture for a dragon in Skyrim.
They ask for bug reports and support, and recommend using it with Adolifs Pokeball mod for a full Pokemon effect.
They also link to a video showcasing the mod and encourage people to subscribe to their YouTube channel for updates.
6. Pokémon Level-Up Sound
Since Pokémon is a classic RPG series, mixing it with another RPG series makes a lot of sense. no matter what features are added.
One of these add-ons is the Pokémon Level Up mod, which is pretty simple:
It changes the sound that you hear when you level up to the one from old Pokémon games. Sounds of happiness for happy times!
5. Charizard – Pokémon Dragon
This one was kind of a given right?
Don’t tell me you didn’t expect to see Skyrim dragons turned into Pokémon… this seems like a given!
And this mod doesn’t just stop at introducing an amazing looking version of Charizard.
It also brings the Pokémon’s Mega Evolution form into the fray.
So be on the lookout when traveling to Red Eagle Redoubt, Serpent’s Bluff Redoubt, and Whiterun: you may get to see one up close. And you may not like it as much as you think.
4. SkyreMon – Texture Overhaul
A grown-up looking Pokémon experience?
Yes, please. Ten thousand times yes!
SkyreMon is a texture pack that changes some of the creatures seen in Skyrim, so that they look like a realistic version of different Pokémon.
No catch’em all here, though: you’ll have to continue doing the dirty work yourself.
3. Pokémon Moves In Skyrim
So this adds some Pokémon stuff to the game, but you can’t really build a team of Poke balls around your waist.
But the mod is awesome, so don’t be upset that you can’t catch Pokémon here.
Pokémon Moves in Skyrim shows off a lot of Pokémon’s special moves, like Aurora Beam, Flamethrower, Water Gun, and Poison Sting, which are well-known moves.
The only bad thing about this mod is that Splash wasn’t added to it.
Can you think of all the memes that could have come out of that?
2. Pikachu Voiced Pokémon Follower
Remember how I told you that Pokémon can’t help you on your journeys?
I lied!
With this follower mod, you can bring along a fully-voiced Pikachu follower.
All you have to do is get the little guy in Riverwood to join you. Then, have fun cooking up all kinds of enemies!
1. Pokémon In Skyrim
Hey, take a look. Doesn’t that fish look like Magikarp?
Get out of there before it grows!
With a very cool mod, Pokémon In Skyrim brings the best Pokémon experience to TES 5.
There aren’t that many Pokémon here, that’s true.
But in Skyrim, you can make them into the heroes who will save the world.
And these Pokémon are not helping Team Rocket out of a real problem.
