31 Best Sims 4 Apartment Lots & Mods

I’ve always lived in apartments. And you can be sure that when I play The Sims 4, my Sims will do the same.

After so many additions, there are so many different places to live that it can be hard to keep track of them all. The Stuff Packs and custom CC add even more variety.

But I think the best drawings are always on the custom lots that users make themselves. They push TS4 as far as it can go, and the effects are gorgeous.

In the last few days, I’ve spent a lot of time looking at custom homes for my Simmies. I’ve found some great ones that I really like, and I’m sure you will too.

31. T.O.O.L. Mod By TwistedMexi

Apartment

Another mod by TwistedMexi that works well with Better BuildBuy, the main motivation behind this content is that it allows simmers to place objects all over the world, not just on their lots.

If you have City Living, this mod will allow you to add items to the shared hallways and other spaces outside of your apartment.

Additionally, using this mod will let you do things like add neighborhood playgrounds, build picnic areas, or anything else you can think of!

30. Tiny Living Apartment

To celebrate the release of the Tiny Living pack, creator Maddiexz3 made this great apartment that saves a lot of room and has everything you need for a healthy life on an 187 lot.

It has everything you need — you can even grow in it!

It has the Great Soil plot trait, so your Sims will have a lot of success growing their own veggies indoors.

With one bedroom and one bathroom, it’s perfect for single Sims or partners who can’t stand to be apart for too long.

29. Oxis Apartment Life

If you don’t want to save money and take up as little room as possible, you might like the luxurious Oxis Apartment Life lot.

The outside of this apartment complex was designed by Autaki. It has many straight lines and sharp edges, but they are softened by lots of plants, including vines that hang from the side of the building and give it a very eco-friendly look.

The inside is tastefully furnished in a toned-down industrial style that reminds me of the headquarters of a big tech company in Silicon Valley.

There are also lots of plants in the four bedrooms, two living rooms, and even the shared bar.

28. Neon Apartments Part II

The skin of a Sim looks and feels better in homes with lots of natural light. And YorkieLadPro has a lot of it in this nice apartment building.

The outside of this beautiful four-story building has a nice mix of shiny surfaces, marble veneer, and even some paintings.

The word “Neon” comes from what’s inside.

Some of the rooms in the flats are painted from floor to ceiling in bright colors, while others use small touches of bright colors to break up the light browns, light olive greens, and whites.

27. 930 Medina Studios LOFT

The Medina Studios LOFT series by Victor_tor was one of the most interesting lot projects I could find. It tries to make a community of three apartments where people can use each other’s goods.

It’s based on the fact that Sims in TS4 are often very… intrusive, coming into your house to use the bathroom or watch TV.

The 930 Medina Studios is my favorite apartment in the series. It has two big indoor greenhouse gardens where you can grow trees.

The 910 and 920 Medina Studios lofts are the last pieces of the set.

26. Tiny Apartments 5×5

The 55 Tiny Apartments complex by Heymei is a great low-cost choice for Sims who want to move out of their parents’ basements and start their own lives.

It’s four small home apartment lots stacked on top of each other.

The small living area will keep the price down, but it has everything a Sim needs for a full life, like small front yards and a shared backyard where they can garden and talk to their neighbors.

Each room is fully furnished and makes good use of space, so it doesn’t feel at all crowded.

25. Miami Apartment 2

The talented creator duo PralineSims gives us the second version of their great Miami Apartment. It still looks tropical and luxurious, but there are a few small changes here and there.

There are a lot of glass walls in the building, so it gets as much natural light as a day in Miami.

It feels even bigger because it has a lot of cream, beige, and white tones, and strong splashes of color keep it from being boring.

One of the sitting rooms has bright pink furniture that makes it feel like you’re in Miami Vice.

24. Carrie Bradshaw’s Apartment

Some of the most interesting lots you can get for TS4 are copies of places from popular TV shows and movies, like Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment from Sex and the City.

Unlike most high-end TS4 apartment designs, this one has a simple, homely style that makes it look like a place a person might live rather than an interior designer’s thesis.

Well, someone who has some money.

It’s based on how the apartment looked in the 2008 movie, right down to the famous walk-in closet where Mr. Big proposed to Carrie at the end.

Other than Carrie’s, the building has three empty apartments that you can fill with your own things.

23. Apricot Apartments

As is the case with most of PralineSims’ creations, the Apricot Apartments stand out for letting plenty of sunlight in through the massive window panels in almost every room.

This 40×30 lot features two distinct spaces over four stories meant for wealthy families with a taste for modern décor.

There’s even an indoor pool!

Beige, cream, and white tones rule over most of the lot, with some stone veneer and sober wallpapers to keep things fresh without sacrificing elegance. Delicate decorations like cherry blossom branches are the icing on the cake.

22. Stonestreet Apartments #3

The person who made Decorativewax’s version of the Stonestreet Apartments #3 in Evergreen Harbor’s Grims Quarry.

Even though the lot was only 913 feet, the author was able to make good use of the space and include a fully-equipped kitchen, a big bedroom with a double bed, a small studio, and a small living room with space to eat.

They even had room for some plants, which, along with the light soft colors, give the room a feeling of being bigger than it is.

21. Boho Rooftop

The Boho Rooftop by PralineSims is different because it has bright colors, a lot of different patterns, and a crazy number of plants and grass.

Colorful rugs and candles that never go out give the indoor spaces a hippie vibe that is surprising at how well it goes with the modern furniture.

Even though the apartment is very large, it only has one bedroom, one bathroom, and a kitchen.

The rest of the place is for parties and meditation meetings with a lot of people.

20. Paul Apartments

The Paul Apartments are the place to live if you want a place that works for everyone.

This beautiful apartment building has eight two-story flats, each of which is decorated in a different way to appeal to a different Sim. There is one for photographers, one for singers, one for artists who work with clay, and one for Sims who like to spend time with their families.

All of them are very big and have everything you need.

Not only that, but every renter has access to a pool, a playground for kids, and even a BBQ area near the pool where they can hang out with their friends or get to know their neighbors.

19. 1312 21 Chic Street – Eclectic Artist

The author MarVlachou gives us a creative apartment full of eye-catching decorations that would be perfect for a Sim who doesn’t mind color.

The bright, clashing colors, like yellow and pink or blue and orange, are used in an eclectic way. They look great with the simple decor. It looks like someone slowly put together their perfect place.

The bathroom is also a bright pink. Your friends will remember it forever.

Get this if you’re the kind of player who gets tired of perfectly clean lots with muted colors that don’t speak to your soul.

18. Praline Apartments

The Praline Apartments are one of PralineSims’s most varied creations. Each of the five rooms is different and will appeal to different Sims.

In the same way that one apartment has lots of wood, warm colors, and classic patterns that make it feel like home, another has a modern black-and-white style.

In one way or another, they are all beautifully decorated for the people they are meant for. The outside of the classic brick building is also very nice.

17. Pure White Apartment

Imagine that your Sim is a tech tycoon or a world-famous mindfulness teacher. In that case, they need an apartment that shows who they are and makes an impression on any possible clients who come by.

This Pure White Apartment mod by PralineSims will definitely make an impression. It gives off a strong futuristic image of order and sterility, with only a few splashes of color here and there, like the bottles at the very well-stocked bar and the odd indoor plant.

In addition to the bar, there is a well-equipped gym that all residents can use.

16. NYC Apartment

Many hard-working people, including Sims, want to live in New York City.

The NYC Apartment, made by PralineSims, gives your Sims a place to live that looks like the kind of places you might find if you moved to the world’s capital.

This apartment building is all brick on the outside, with some dark-colored features that look like what you’d see on any street in New York City. But the inside is artistic and modern, with lots of wood textures that stand out against the brick walls.

It’s also full of things that have to do with New York City, like wallpapers with the skyline of the city and a tabletop model of the Empire State.

15. Sky Tower

Sometimes you want to live in the middle of the city without giving up the advantages of a big house in the suburbs.

With the Sky Tower apartment, which is very nice, you can.

This huge three-story house by Danuta720 has everything you’d expect from a big country house. On the top floor, there is an outdoor basketball court and a pool.

The apartment has three bedrooms, two living rooms, and a computer room where your young, rich Sims can do their work.

14. Snazzy High-End Modern Artist Apartment

Some artists like to see things that could give them ideas wherever they look.

This cool Artist Apartment by Madam_Hyjinks is for Sims who like to look at things.

It is in San Myshuno’s Arts Quarter and looks like it should be there. It’s full of works of art, and each room has its own style and lots of colors. All of these styles work well together to make the right place for an artist to live.

In addition to the standard rooms, this apartment has a reading nook, a bar, and an office where you can meet with possible clients. It will show them you are who you say you are.

13. Industrial Loft

SimFabulous’ Industrial Loft is another great place for an artist to live. It has two different one-bedroom apartments with everything you need for a happy city life.

The furniture in these homes is simple and useful, and it comes in neutral colors that go well with the brick walls. Wide window screens let in a lot of natural light, which keeps the room from getting dark.

One of the flats has a room to study and a painting studio, while the other has a large kitchen and a bar with a lot of drinks. They share a nice garden deck with a grilling area and even a place to make a campfire for quiet, friendly gatherings.

12. Industrial Apartment

If you want your whole house to have an industrial feel, the Industrial Apartment by GenkaiHaretsu is the way to go.

Brick walls look great with metal furniture and dark colors, and an army of indoor plants keeps the space looking hip, modern, and generally liveable.

This area has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two patios where you can enjoy the nighttime breeze of San Myshuno.

There is also a room that can be used as a gym, so even if you work long hours, you can stay in shape.

11. SLRN Apartment Complex

The SLRN Apartment Complex by Simfulpixel is a great choice if you want your Sim to live in an apartment like a real person.

The eleven apartments in this three-story building range in size from studios to two-bedroom apartments in the top for big Simmie families. Most of them have nice furniture, but some are empty so you can arrange them however you want.

Residents can use the small gym to stay in shape, the pool and hot tub to rest, and there is even a garden with a playground where family-oriented Sims can enjoy gardening while their children play safely a few steps away.

10. Apartamentos Gran Via

Casmar’s Apartmentos Gran Va, which looks like a tropical house and has a lot of apartments, is another multi-unit building for wealthy Sims.

The building has four large flats with fancy furniture set on ornate rugs that give these rooms a lot of texture.

The large walk-in closets also add to the feeling of luxury.

I also really like the bathrooms, which stand out thanks to their brightly colored tiles and beautiful patterns.

Only two of these flats come with everything you need. The other two can be taken over by any new family.

9. Nocturne + Restaurant

Some food-loving Sims are happy to just cook for their family and friends, but others are more bold.

Get the Nocturne room for these Sims.

This building by Danuta720 has a beautiful restaurant on the first floor and an apartment for the owner and their family on the second floor. This means that the owner and their family don’t have to commute and can keep a close eye on their business.

If you are too tired or busy to cook, you can always go down some stairs and order “the usual.”

8. Community Alley Cafe

Living in an apartment can sometimes make you feel alone, and you might only talk to your neighbors during semi-uncomfortable elevator rides before you forget they even exist.

The Community Alley Cafe is a home that goes against this idea.

On both sides of this closed street are eight two-story townhouses that are perfect for single Sims or young couples.

Beautiful chairs and lamps from the 20th century create a dreamy atmosphere that’s great for meeting people, and the great cafe at the end of the street is the perfect place for a small community to get together.

7. The Colour Castle from Rainbow Brite

We’ve seen many beautifully decorated, high-end apartments, and we’ll see more, but let’s take a moment to admire this Colour Castle from Hallmark’s Rainbow Brite. It’s a work of art.

It looks just like the house where the Color Kids live.

Each tower has two openings and has furniture and decorations that match the Color Kid who lives there. One leads to the outside, and the other leads to the center tower where the Color Console is located.

Even if your Sims aren’t magical kids, this castle has everything they need to live a healthy life, and the tower in the middle is a great place to host parties.

6. Marvelous Maisel Apartment

The Marvelous Maisel Apartment by Carl Dillynson is based on a TV show from the past few years.

It looks just like the apartment where Rose, Abe, and Miriam Maisel live. It was modeled after the Strathmore Apartments on New York City’s Upper West Side.

Because of how the program works, a few small changes had to be made.

But watching your Sims talk to each other and live in this beautiful apartment built around a TV is just like watching an episode of the show.

With five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room, and a dining room, this place could fit several generations of a family.

5. Luxury Apartment

It already sounds like a dream to live in an apartment with a view of a busy city.

But Cross Design’s Luxury Apartment mod takes the idea to the next level.

It’s a two-story house with a terrace and a pool with black tiles that you’ve never seen before.

Instead of using color, the stylish interior design makes use of different materials to create contrast and style.

The living room is my favorite spot because the glass panel walls show off the amazing view of the city all around the huge TV.

4. Modern Contemporary Apartment

Malolos the Great, a Greek builder, made the Modern Contemporary Apartment, which is one of the most interesting apartment buildings I could find.

At first glance, you can see that they are from Greece because the front of this amazing building looks like it was modeled after the Parthenon.

The inside of the apartments is nicely done up in mostly light colors like cream and gray, with some darker accents in dark wood and black that look great with all the natural light that comes in through the glass panels.

Residents can use a well-equipped gym, a pool, a tennis area, and even a cafe to meet their neighbors and make new friends.

3. Friends TV Apartments

If you like The Sims, chances are you like Friends.

After all, watching your Sims living their wacky lives and dealing with everyday problems is almost the same as watching that beloved sitcom.

This apartment complex mod by Staralien crams everyone’s apartments from the TV show all into a single building in TS4.

There’s Monica and Rachel’s abode where most of the show takes place, Joey and Chandler’s with the two recliners and table soccer, but also Ross’ and Phoebe’s – reconstructed from a few scenes and the author’s imagination.

You’ll even find a bowling alley and even the Central Perk on the ground floor!

2. More FRIENDS Apartments (Better Central Perk)

The original “Friends-themed apartment mod” I talked about earlier is the most accurate copy you could want… But it’s not the only version out there on the Internet.

This version by Candiii stands out because its Central Perk is much better. Even though the flats aren’t picture-perfect, they have fun features that the others don’t have, like Joey’s strange dog statue that he got when he moved out for a while.

This building also has three floors that are completely empty, so you can slowly fill them with furniture in any style you like.

1. Twilight Dusk Apartment

Many of you would have liked a third Friends-themed apartment at the top, but it has to be something that everyone likes, and the Twilight Dusk Apartment by PralineSims has that.

Probably.

This apartment is very open, with glass walls on the outside instead of walls made of concrete. On the terrace, there is a beautiful long pool, and small gardens are all around the main building.

Inside, there are black, white, and green colors and modern furniture. Some different colors here and there help break up the sameness.

It’s a dream come true.
