Where can you find Red Dead Redemption 2 cheat codes?
Most people who have played Red Dead Redemption 2 have probably used a cheat code without even realizing it. Many are written in odd places, like on ice or on a cabinet in a lonely shack.
But there is one way to find trick codes that will always work: buy newspapers. Head to Valentine, Saint Denis, or Blackwater and buy the New Hanover Gazette, Saint Denis Times, or Blackwater Ledger from a newspaper vendor there.
Some newspapers won’t be available until you’ve passed certain story parts, and some cheats won’t work until you’ve reached a certain level, so to get the most out of the game, you should probably finish the campaign first.
The newspapers don’t cost much, and if you’ve already won the game, you should have a lot of money, so grab as many as you can as soon as you can.
After that, open your satchel, take out a newspaper, turn it over, and zoom in on the bottom of the page.
If the paper has a cheat code, a phrase will be written in a small tagline under one of the stories. This is the phrase you have to put in to get to the cheat code.
How to Enter Red Dead Redemption 2 Cheats?
In Red Dead Redemption 2, you have to be in the game to enter a trick code because you have to go to the SETTINGS.

How to unlock cheats with newspapers in Red Dead Redemption 2
As mentioned above, there are certain requirements in the form of Newspapers, which are sold at vendors in settlements.
You need to own the corresponding Newspaper in order to unlock the cheat, which is printed at the bottom if you flip it over.
If you try to enter these types of cheats ahead of time, the game will give you an error message saying ‘You do not meet the prerequisites to unlock this cheat’.
There are three types of different newspapers, which will release new editions throughout the story.
You can choose to purchase them from Valentine (New Hanover Gazette), Strawberry (Blackwater Ledger) and Rhodes (Saint Denis Times) as you go, or wait until the end to catch up on the back catalogue.
For some reason there are times where you cannot buy a newspaper from a vendor. If you come across this, we recommend coming back later to try again.
