Genshin Impact’s 3.4 Update Brings Festive Music to the Lantern Rite Festival

Genshin Impact’s annual Lantern Rite event is just around the corner, and this year’s celebration promises to be bigger and better than ever.

In addition to the usual login rewards, free Primogems, and in-game events, players can look forward to the new Lantern Rite Music Festival, featuring some of Liyue’s most talented musicians, including fan favorite Xinyan.

Characters like Venti, Yunjin, and Hu Tao will also make appearances, joining in on the festive celebrations.

The Lantern Rite event is one of the highlights of Version 3.4, and is known for offering some of the best rewards and events of the year for players.

Alongside the festivities, players can also look forward to the arrival of Yaoyao, a new 4-star Dendro character and the first Dendro healer in the game.

Yaoyao has been teased numerous times throughout the game’s lifespan, and players will finally have the chance to pull for her in the upcoming update.

But the Lantern Rite Music Festival isn’t the only new content coming in Version 3.4. The already expansive map of Sumeru is set to receive even more updates, with new areas in the desert region available to explore.

To help players navigate these new lands, a new playable character called Alhaitham will be introduced. Alhaitham is a 5-star Dendro character who played a key role in the Sumeru Archon Quest.

Players can also look forward to a variety of events, including the Almighty Arataki Extraordinary and Exhilarating Extreme Beetle Brawl events.

The Overflowing Mastery event will also make a return in this update, allowing players to earn double talent books. Along with new skins for Lisa and Kamisato Ayaka, players will also have the chance to claim one free 4-star character from Liyue.
