Experience the Power of Gods in Overwatch 2’s Battle for Olympus Event

Overwatch 2 is set to kick off a new event called the Battle for Olympus this Thursday, January 5, and it’s sure to be a godsend for fans of the game. This unique event will run until January 19 and will feature a brand new free-for-all mode that players can participate in.

In this mode, players will be able to choose from a selection of heroes who are all sporting god skins, including Junker Queen’s Mythical Zeus skin which can be earned by completing the battle pass. These skins will only be available while playing the mode, so if you don’t own them, now is your chance to try them out.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Every hero in this mode will have new effects added to their abilities, adding an extra layer of excitement to the gameplay.

In the trailer for the event, we see Lucio stunning enemies, Widowmaker turning opponents to stone, Pharah moving while using her Ultimate, Roadhog increasing in size and firing boulders, Ramattra lifting up enemies, Junker Queen striking enemies with lightning, and Reinhardt’s Ultimate traveling through objects to knock enemies down.

It’s possible that there could be even more abilities not yet revealed, so players will have to wait and see what else is in store for them.

To get players in the mood for the Battle for Olympus, new Olympian skins are now available in the Overwatch 2 shop. These skins can be purchased with in-game coins and include Minotaur Reinhardt, Medusa Widowmaker, Cyclops Roadhog, and Hermes Lucio.
