FFXIV Endwalker: How To Unlock The Sage Job?

With the release of the Endwalker expansion, two new jobs — Reaper and Sage — have been added to the Final Fantasy 14 roster.

If you’re up to the challenge of keeping your entire party alive as a healer, Sage could be the perfect vocation for you.

Here you’ll find all the information you need to locate and complete the initial quest to unlock Sage.

Sage’s job level begins at level 70 once unlocked.

Sage’s Path Quest Walkthrough

The Sage Job

To unlock the Sage profession, you must speak with the Sharlayan Maiden in the Lower Decks of Limsa Lominsa (X:9.4 Y:12.9) and finish the ‘Sage’s Path’ task.

You must be a level 70 Disciple of War or Magic and have acquired the Endwalker expansion to accept this quest.

The quickest way to reach the Zephyr Gate in Middle La Noscea at (X:20.9, Y:24.7) after the cutscene is to engage with the Aetheryte/Aethernet and pick the Zephyr Gate (providing you have found all Aethernets in Limsa Lominsa).

Repeat your conversation with Lalah Jinjahl to continue the quest.

After the cutscene, speak with Lalah Jinjahl to complete the task and obtain the Sage’s Soul, Bookwyrm’s Attire Coffer, and Stonegold Milpreves of superior grade – everything you need to become a Sage.

How To Change To The Sage Job?

Equip the Stonegold Milpreves from the Character menu to transform into Sage.

Remember to utilize your Bookwyrm’s Attire Coffer and outfit your new gear before beginning your first job quest.
