18 Best Anime Song Maps For Beat Saber

The two go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Back when Stepmania was popular, there were packs of anime songs. Both Guitar Hero and Rock Band had a lot of fan-mapped anime songs.

After a while, the industry caught on, and many rhythm games came out that were made specifically for anime fans. Cytus, Voez, Muse Dash, etc. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva, of course.

A good VR anime rhythm game is still something we don’t have. Beat Saber is very flexible, which is great. You’ll feel right at home on this fake dance floor if you download some good anime songs.

Here are a few of my personal favorites to help you get started.

Best Anime Song Maps For Beat Saber

18. Ayaka Oohashi – 『Please, please!』TV Anime『Masamukun Revenge R』OP Theme 【 Chain & Arknotes use map】

“Embark on a revengeful rhythm journey with Ayaka Oohashi’s ‘Please, please!’ – the electrifying OP theme of TV anime ‘Masamukun Revenge R.’

In Beat Saber, Chain & Arknotes’ map will have you slashing to the beat, feeling the passion and determination of the song as you conquer each block.”

17. Wagakki Band – 『The Beast』TV Anime 『Hanma Baki – Yajin Sensouhen』OP theme 【 Chain & Arknotes use map】

“Unleash your inner beast with Wagakki Band’s ‘The Beast,’ the electrifying OP theme of the TV anime ‘Hanma Baki – Yajin Sensouhen.’

Get ready for an intense Beat Saber experience with Chain & Arknotes’ captivating map, slicing through blocks to the rhythm of this powerful and thrilling track.”

16. MAN WITH A MISSION & milet – 『Kizuna no Kiseki』 TV Anime (Kimetsu no Yaiba OP4) (Full Ver.)

Experience the energetic collaboration of MAN WITH A MISSION & milet in ‘Kizuna no Kiseki,’ the thrilling Kimetsu no Yaiba OP4 for Beat Saber.

Slash to the beat and feel the bonds of Demon Slayer in this exhilarating rhythm game track.

15. PSI-Missing – Mami Kawada (A Certain Magical Index’s OP 1)

A Certain Magical Index is a great action/science fiction/fantasy anime from 2008 about a cute English loli nun who is on the run from the church.

Oh, anime. Never change.

Aside from having great characters and a very creative setting, the show stands out for its starts, which tend to have a “glitchy” quality that I think fits Beat Saber perfectly.

PSI-Missing is a fast-paced song with beautiful singing that will make you cry if you watched the show back in the day.

14. Kaibutsu – YOASOBI (Beastars S2 OP)

If you ever needed proof that we’re all deep down furries, all you have to do is look at how famous Beastars is. It’s like Zootopia for adults.

This show is about the sexual tension between a wolf and the rabbit he loves, as well as the racial conflict between herbivores and carnivores.

Even worse, there is a black market where carnivores who want to eat herbivores’ meat can buy it.

So glad that didn’t happen in Zootopia.

The beginning of this slightly creepy show’s second season is a total banger, so make sure to check it out.

13. What’s up, people?! – Maximum the Hormone (Death Note OP 2

Can you think of anything more well-known than the second start of Death Note?

It was a big change from how the show had started before.

“The World” by Nightmare was a catchy song, but this one is just chaos.

It shows how Light’s mind is falling apart and how quickly he is becoming a total psychopath, and I love it.

Make sure you have some potato chips on hand so you can eat them as you play this map.

12. Zetsubou Billy – Maximum the Hormone (Death Note ED 2)

“What’s up, people?!” is the most memorable opening of Death Note, but I don’t think it’s exactly the best song in the show.

From a musical point of view, I like the second finish a lot better, and the way it is put together makes it much easier to map with Beat Saber.

This is one I’d only suggest to players with a lot of skill, in part because the BPM changes a lot.

Maximum the Hormone loves to do it, but it can be hell to change your beat while you’re playing.

Still, it’s a great way to get your energy going and let go of the stress of the day.

11. Colors – Flow (Code Geass OP 1)

When Death Note ended, it left a big hole in the hearts of anime fans.

Until Code Geass came along, it seemed like we’d never see the charm of a main character with a fuzzy moral code and a big brain who tries to take over the world with willpower and intelligence again.

This show not only gave us a new genius to look up to, but it also made it okay to do so without feeling bad because they were just a little bit less of a murderous maniac.

I still remember how it felt when this opening played at an anime gathering and everyone shouted “JIBUN WO” at the same time. Now, we can play Beat Saber and enjoy it.

10. Jingo Junge – MYTH & ROID (Saga of Tanya the Evil OP)

In Saga of Tanya the Evil, a man is reborn in another world as a little girl. To get back at the god of this world, he becomes a master tactician for the royal army.

Yeah, it’s kind of weird.

But if you give it a chance, you’ll love it.

The first part of the song is aggressive and violent, and the lyrics are about being a patriot and killing as many enemies as you can to get fame.

A bit dark, sure. But if you imagine she’s talking about taking notes in blocks, you’ll catch on quickly.

9. Fly! Gundam! – Koh Ikeda (MS Gundam OP)

Here’s a reminder of the past.

When the first Mobile Suit Gundam show came out in 1979, it really changed the way giant robot anime was made. Now, its opening will change the way you listen to anime.

I was surprised to see that Beat Saber had such an old-school anime beginning, but I guess it makes sense given how popular the show was in Japan and around the world.

Even though the show is about the deaths and horrors of war, this opening is a lot of fun.

8. Catch You, Catch Me – Hinata Megumi (Cardcaptor Sakura OP)

The opening of the famous anime show Cardcaptor Sakura, which came out in 1998, is also a blast from the past.

It was one of the first anime shows I saw on TV, and it made me want to learn more about Japanese animation.

Whenever I heard this opening play, I stopped whatever I was doing, whether it was playing with my Legos or eating dirt in the yard.

It was the perfect time of day for me to get back into the magical world of card-catching.

I think my family would have liked it more if I had been that excited about sports or school. So, where does the soccer anime start? How about math or chemistry?

I believed so.

7. Gurenge – LiSA (Demon Slayer OP)

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, one of the most well-known anime in history, has brought a whole new wave of anime fans into our group.

Everyone has the first part of this shounen epic on their Spotify and YouTube Music streams.

You can now add it to your Beat Saber playlist.

It’s exciting and full of energy, just like a shounen beginning should be. As you slice and dice your way through the note blocks, it will remind you of the show.

You might even yell “ICHI NO KATA: MINAMO GIRI!” while playing.

It’s OK. No one is looking at you.

6. A Certain Scientific Railgun Opening Song Pack

A Certain Scientific Railgun is like A Certain Magical Index without any of the male characters, and it’s really, really good.

In this show, a group of girls try to keep things in order in Academy City, which is the only place in the world where magical and/or psychic skills are common.

The show is great, and the way it starts is top-notch. This Opening Song Pack has a compilation map that will test your strength and nine great Railgun maps.

5. Angel Beats! (GirlDeMo) Map Pack

In the anime Angel Beats, cute girls do cute things. drew a lot of attention when it came out in 2010.

It filled a certain void left by The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya’s last season. It did this by having a lead character who was similar to Haruhi’s and by combining comedy, drama, and music into a single package.

People really liked the part with the music.

It was mostly shown by Girls Dead Monster, or GirlDeMo for short. They were the most popular girl band at the afterlife school.

This GirlDeMo map pack is great for fans of the series and people who want to get into it.

It has more than a dozen of the show’s best songs, including a version of the hit opening song “My Soul, Your Beats!”

4. Libera Me From Hell (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann)

Just reading the name of this song gives me chills.

Those of you who have seen Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann will know the stupidly epic song that plays several times during the show’s heroes’ end battle with the Anti-Spirals.

The song blends the rebellious rap theme of Team Dai-Gurren (ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWAH) with the dramatic Latin chants of the Anti-Spirals.

The result is a song about fighting the status quo, breaking the rules, and pushing darkness back no matter what.

Even if you fail on the song’s hard Expert level, Team Dai-Gurren’s manly spirit will give you the strength to keep going.

3. 99 – Mob Choir (Mob Psycho 100 OP)

What a surprise!

Everyone should try out TheLitleWiseOwl’s amazing light show map, whether they like Mob Psycho 100 or have never heard of it.

The psychedelic beginning of the anime is shown on the map as a Beat Saber light show with neon-lit buildings, signs, and patterns that move.

It’s kind of like being inside the opening, and it’s one of those things that makes you think, “This is why I bought a VR headset.”

Even so, it can be hard to read the notes when there is so much to look at, which keeps it from being higher on the list.

Still, it’s without a doubt one of the best anime parts of Beat Saber.

2. The 22/7 Anime Soundtrack Vol. 1 & 2

I love it when one post can provide hours of fun for our readers.

And many of the songs on this album of anime songs sung by the Japanese idol group 22/7 are very good.

For those of you who don’t know, 22/7 is a special idol group where actresses provide the voices, but the stage acts and visuals are all animated.

This pack has a lot of different openings from shows like Evangelion, Sword Art Online, Bakemonogatari, and more. All of them were carefully mapped by Joetastic, one of the most famous Beat Saber players.

The link above will take you to the first part of this custom compilation, and this link will take you to the second part of custom songs mapped to Beat Saber.

1. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Song Pack

What else could have gone at the very top?

JoJo’s is famous for its high energy, peak human anatomy, and damn good openers.

It makes sense that a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Song Pack would work great in Beat Saber, a rhythm game for nerds who want to look like Pillar Men by cutting note blocks.

This strange song pack has all of the starts and a few extras, like Giorno’s Theme and the Torture Dance song from Part 5.

Finding that last one made my day, and I hope it does the same for you.

There is also a long song with all of the openings in it without any breaks. This is a kind of boss rush for people who like to be challenged.
